Key pillow care

1. The silk pillowcase can be easily removed and put on, so it can be washed like any other silk product.

2. The pillow itself, without the pillowcase, does not need to be washed, because it is filled with 100% wool. If you want to wash it, be sure to take out the filler and put it back in after washing and drying. However, we do not recommend doing so.

Important things about the benefits of the filling! The 100% wool used in the Key anti-aging pillow has natural antibacterial properties that minimize the appearance of microorganisms. It contains lanolin (a natural wax), which covers the wool fibers. It repels moisture and creates an environment that is unfavorable for the active growth of bacteria. Also, wool has a breathable structure, so it is highly breathable and promotes thermoregulation.

3. If you have sensitive skin or acne, we recommend washing once every 1-3 days. If you do not have skin problems, then once a week.

4. For convenience, you can buy another pillowcase for the pillow. This way you can wash one pillowcase and use the other without interrupting your regular sleep on the Key anti-aging pillow.

Caring for silk

How to wash silk products?

MOLODO silk can be machine washed on a delicate cycle, but we recommend hand washing to maintain the original appearance of the silk. We recommend using an organic silk detergent Silky Way.

Hand wash
Before washing, dissolve the detergent in cool water (max. 30°C) and then soak the pillowcase. After washing, we recommend rinsing it in cold water with 9% vinegar (5 tablespoons of vinegar per 10 liters of water) to completely remove alkali residue and preserve the shine of the pillowcase.

Important! Do not wash silk in hot water (max. 30°C), as the temperature causes it to lose its softness. We also do not recommend washing and drying accessories of different colors together.
